Urban whiskers

I was inspired by the rhythm of city neighborhoods - dense rows of small houses layered together like a quiet urban landscape. So I created a pattern combining a hand-carved linocut city with loose, sketchbook cats wandering through the streets and rooftops. It reminds me of evening city walks, when windows glow softly and stray cats move quietly through narrow streets. I made it to feel rhythmic, playful and slightly surreal - like a hidden night life of the city unfolding between buildings.

I created it with bold textiles and statement surfaces in mind, such as wallpaper, art prints and expressive home decor.

Seamless pattern design by Kata Qooo — linocut-inspired repetition where texture and geometry meet quiet playfulness.
