Late summer meadow

I was inspired by a late summer meadow - sun-burnt grasses, red spikes of wild sorrel and the cool blue flowers of chicory creating vivid contrasts in the heat. So I created a pattern of wild plants swaying in a warm breeze, capturing the movement and rhythm of grasses and flowers at the peak of summer. It reminds me of the scent of freshly cut grass and the feeling of warm sunlight lingering on the skin during long August afternoons. I made it to feel warm, vibrant and slightly adventurous - like wandering through a meadow at the end of summer.

I created it with bold summer dresses, bed linen, pillowcases and kitchen textiles in mind.
